The student council recently held their annual lunch outing. A presentation was also made to Ms Dawson on behalf of the student body on her retirement. We wish Ms Dawson all the best for the future.

The 1st year academy soccer team stormed into the Munster final today after overcoming St Marys Newport 1-0 in the town park Mallow. Congratulations to Crossfit Limerick who won the academy golf classic. And thanks to all the sponsors and players on the day.
Well done to former academy pupils Jimmy, Owen & Sean Glynn who represented Munster v Ulster in a 39-17 win. Jimmy and Sean both scoring tries. Next up is Leinster on Saturday. This is rumoured to be the first time that 3 brothers have represented the Junior club side.
Bank of Ireland school bank is now up and running , You need a passport to open an account and to be over 14, The boys will be running it next Wednesday and Thursday in school at lunch in the canteen for anyone who wants to sign up,
Hard luck to the U16 footballers today in the Cork A final. They lost on a scoreline of 2-10 to 2-07 to a very strong Macroom team. Thanks to everyone who came to support the lads.
