The Patrician Academy is an all Boys Secondary School located in the North Cork Town of Mallow
The school was established by the Catholic diocese of Cloyne OVER one hundred and thirty years ago with the purpose of providing education for the young boys of Mallow.
For most of its ‘lifetime’ the school was managed by the Patrician Brothers who left Mallow in 1994. The school is now managed by a Board of Management consisting of four Trustee representatives, two parents’ representative and two teachers’ representatives.
The school has an enviable reputation for its academic excellence and its commitment to the fullest possible development of its students
While the Academy built its early reputation on academic excellence it has always readily embraced new ideas and subjects. Thus, in more recent times the school has achieved a reputation as a centre of excellence for education in Computer and Building Technologies.
The Academy is justly proud of its pupils who, over the years, have achieved at the highest levels in all walks of life all over the world
